My story with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I engaged a trader through their platform to complete some essential home repairs. They looked trustworthy at first, but it turned out a terrible ordeal.
Even though I transferred the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Getting a response dried up. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with unfinished repairs.
Checkatrade has been beyond frustrating throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been scammed.
